Covid-19 protocols for in-home vet care


As an essential service we are here for you!

Please know that every single pet and family is very important to us. And we appreciate you following our protocols and procedures to keep all of us safe and helping as many families as we can. 

We will never schedule an appointment or keep an appointment if any of our staff members are sick. We are a small staff and privately owned business. If one of us becomes sick, we will have to close to quarantine. We do not have any back up employees. We want to be able to stay open to provide services and care for our patients. 

If you or anyone in your household have any symptoms of sickness including, but not limited to, fever, respiratory signs, GI upset (vomiting or diarrhea) or unexplained lethargy, please contact us to reschedule your pet’s appointment ASAP. Last minute cancellation fees are waived for any sickness related cancellation. We appreciate that you are trying to slow the spread of disease and help in keeping our team healthy.

When scheduling an appointment, please make us aware of every family member who is going to be present. We ask that you limit the number of people to ideally one designated family member at the time of the appointment. Depending on the weather, we may ask that you meet us outside or speak to us via phone or FaceTime with all of the communication components prior to us entering your home. 

We will be abiding by a safe distance protocol. Therefore, there will be no direct personal contact such as hugging, hand shaking, or any other direct contact.

You may be asked at the time of making the appointment if there is a designated area in your home in which the pet. Can be examined safely. That you can view without being in the room with the doctor and the technician. 

We will be utilizing a no touch payment system. And we’ll walk you through the transaction so that you’re able to direct your focus to your loved one. 

Our doctors may come with personal protective equipment on including but not limited to masks, face shields, gloves, gowns, shoe coverings, and any other equipment that they feel comfortable wearing.
